Bitter with flurries

A cold night to come tonight with plenty of cloud around. A stiff easterly breeze will continue to blow in wintry showers for many areas although these are not expected to be significant enough to settle. Overnight lows between -1 and 1 degrees.

Mostly cloudy on Friday with the odd sunny spells breaking through. There will be continued wintry flurries but again these won’t be anything of any real significance and will become increasingly light and scattered. A cold day especially with that raw easterly breeze. Temperatures ranging between 3 and 5 degrees.

A cold weekend is expected with wintry flurries continuing, these will become heavier and more frequent on Saturday but again not expected to be anything significant. It will turn less cloud on Sunday with some sunny spells but it remains bitter with that raw easterly wind really digging in.
